Car Description
The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible stands out with its Hugger Orange exterior and white stripes. It’s powered by a professionally built 383ci V8, delivering 410hp. The engine features a 4bbl carburetor, Edelbrock RPM heads, and MSD ignition, with exhaust gases routed through tubular headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Cooling is managed by a Griffin Aluminum radiator, and chrome accents, including the valve covers and alternator, add a polished look.
The chassis and suspension have been cosmetically restored, with new front and rear springs and front disc brakes. The rear brakes are drum, and a rear stabilizer bar has been added. The drivetrain includes an American Gear Engineering M23 4-speed transmission and a 10-bolt rear differential, all riding on American Racing Torque Thrust 15” wheels with high-speed radial tires.
The interior and exterior are complemented by a fully functional cowl induction hood and a clean, detailed engine bay. This Camaro SS Convertible blends classic style with modern performance upgrades, making it a standout garage-kept classic.
